Goodbye Zagreb – Hello Graz

Mads, Dennis and Veronika recently returned from a successful AEC 2017 conference, full of positive networking opportunities with current and potential clients. Our host, the Academy of Music at the University of Zagreb, offered conference attendees various fine arts performances planned and performed by students of the school and special guests. Amongst them a short opera and a quite impressive traditional singing performance.

It was a delight to spend time in the brand new building of the school and the Croatian National Theater. We thank our host and the AEC team for their hospitality and help throughout the conference.

We were also able to take a short trip around (Krapina) and enjoy some of the croatian nature and culture.

It was a wonderful experience, and we are very much looking forward to next year’s AEC conference, which will be in Graz, Austria at the University of Music and Performing Arts from 8-10 November 2018.

We hope to see you there!

AEC 2017 – We look forward to meet you in Zagreb!

Will you be attending the 2017 AEC Congress in Zagreb this year? We from ASIMUT most certainly are!

ASIMUT software is looking forward to seeing customers and friends again, as well as the opportunity to introduce ASIMUT software to new schools.

Nine years ago, the AEC conference was held at the Royal Academy of Music in the city of Aarhus, where ASIMUT software resides. Two of the participants were Mads and Dennis, who are now core members of the ASIMUT team. At the time, Dennis was the president of the student council at the academy, and Mads had just left his position in the management of the academy to start ASIMUT software. It was a great conference, and every year since then, we have been looking forward to participating and sponsoring the event. We’re thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to be an ongoing part of this unique annual gathering for conservatories throughout Europe.

If you would like to know how your school could benefit from ASIMUT, we would be delighted to set up a short meeting during the conference – do not hesitate to get in touch with us!

International Council of Fine Arts Deans Conference

In our constant strive to keep up with the world of Music and Fine Arts educations, we were very excited to be part of the International Council of Fine Arts Deans (ICFAD) annual conference for the very first time.

Therefore Dennis traveled, together with a Trade Advisor from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the conference held in Halifax (Canada) on 18th – 20th October 2017. The program presented a range of topics concerning fine arts education, diversity, and politics affecting educational programs. The sessions were very interesting and it was a great honour to be part of the sponsors of the event. Through our many interesting meetings with the deans in attendance, we learned how unique and individually structured schools in North America are, while facing many of the same challenges in scheduling, room booking and event management.

We look forward to future events with the ICFAD.

Join us in Copenhagen April 9-10th

One more client in Germany!

Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin, has also decided to implement ASIMUT and the whole team is really happy and honoured to be part of a school with such a wonderful ideology. BSA was founded in 2015 as a robust continuation of the spirit and mission of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. Named after the Orchestra’s founders and leading lights, with a curriculum likewise inspired by their initiative, the Barenboim-Said Akademie is committed to educating a new generation of musicians.

ASIMUT User Group Meeting 2017

Thank you for joining us in Amsterdam!

On April 6th and 7th, ASIMUT users gathered at Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the ASIMUT User Group Meeting 2017. With around 60 participants, our 4th meeting broke the participant records once again!

The ASIMUT User Group Meetings are an invaluable source of input both for us and for our clients, and a unique possibility to gather the community of schedulers, event managers and administrators of schools of music, drama and arts around the world. The whole ASIMUT team thoroughly enjoyed our customers’ enthusiasm, feedback and positive attitude towards ASIMUT, and we came home with lots of ideas on how to develop the system further.

A very special thank you to Conservatorium van Amsterdam, for hosting and providing the smooth organisation of locations, food and everything related to the meeting.

We are already looking forward to next year!
